Digital Marketing Specialist

Johns Hopkins Federal Credit Union is seeking a motivated and innovative Digital Marketing Specialist to work closely with our Marketing team to implement marketing efforts, and spread the word about JHFCU and the Credit Union movement on all of our various digital channels.
This position is responsible for the placement of content for email, the JHFCU website, social media accounts, YouTube channel, and other digital content and materials targeted to JHFCU’s key audiences: members, prospective members, and the communities served by JHFCU.
This individual will work with multiple platforms and vendor partners to distribute content and track marketing performance on behalf of the credit union.
This position is NOT open to remote workers.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Monitoring Google Analytics to review website and digital advertising metrics.
Managing JHFCU website for content, design, accuracy and compliance.
Assisting with omni-channel marketing initiatives, including email, direct mail, and social media.
Providing recommendations on innovative ways to use social platforms and digital content to tell stories, interact and building community, and drive engagement and traffic.
Working with Canva software to create assets for various events and communications.
Managing social media, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Working with marketing team and vendors on production of video assets.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree (B.
S.
) from an accredited college or university in the fields of Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or English and at least at least two years of related progressive experience with web publishing, html, and Google Analytics is required.
Exceptional attention to detail and writing skills preferred.

A thorough understanding of Credit Union products, services and competitor’s product lines is preferred.
Experience in html, contact management system (CMS), CRM, Google Analytics, and Canva preferred.
