Ideal candidate has a mode of transportation, an eye for marketing and enjoys working with people.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants
- Respond to inquiries and provide information about the property, leasing terms, and rental rates
- Screen potential tenants by reviewing applications, conducting background checks, and verifying income and employment information
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and documenting any damages
- Address tenant concerns and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, tenant interactions, and property maintenance
Experience:
- Previous experience in property leasing or a related field is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants
- Knowledge of property maintenance and facilities management practices
- Sales experience is a plus, with the ability to effectively market available units and negotiate lease terms
- Familiarity with office procedures and basic knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- Proficiency in using property management software such as OneSite or similar platforms
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus
