Putting together a dynamic 60’s group – to play out around the Maryland areas.
Come on you great guitar players - let me know you're out there!
We are looking for a committed lead/rhythm guitar player who can add those great lead guitar sounds for all those 60's tunes, plus who can sing both lead and harmonies, has good equipment and transportation.
Everyone will sing in this group.
Working together with the current rhythm/lead guitar player will be very important.
We are getting rolling on this project, and have a guitar, drums, and bass.
We're also looking for keys and a female voice.
No hired guns desired.
Looking for a mature person to fit in with our group and sound.
Practice is in Essex and will be on Sunday.
This project is not priority 1 on the life scale since we all have other things going on in our life.
BUT, it will be very important to do your homework on learning the material prior to coming to practice in order for this to be a success.
We don't expect to be playing clubs, unless the club is looking for a specialty show.
VFWs, American Legions, Yacht clubs, specialty parties, to name a few venues to shoot for.
We want to have fun, plus play to people who enjoy this type of music and also know how to have fun.
Other expectations are dressing the part for the 60's.
Some shows we'll wear tie dye, other shows we will wear the "all important" jacket and skinny black tie you see in many of those bands.
