Amentum is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Spectrum Manager to support the global mission requirements of the United States Navy in Fort Meade, MD.

The global dependence on systems using the electromagnetic spectrum is increasing which drives congestion of that environment.
You will use your strong foundation in spectrum to manage the wide variety of systems used by the Navy and their associated spectrum requirements.
Specific work will focus on the review and coordination of a variety of frequency requests and taskings at the National level.
You will be responsible for the review, preparation, and submission of documentation, necessary to support coordination for DoN operations in foreign countries.
Your knowledge of radio equipment and radio propagation characteristics aids in the review and coordination of National and International level requirements.
The position will provide you with a unique experience through the chance to work with systems utilizing the entirety of the radio-frequency spectrum from direct current to daylight.
You will work with minimal oversight in the coordination with appropriate federal, non-federal, military and other government officials.
You will also proactively address concerns submitted through the frequency deconfliction chain and will support education, outreach, and policy review and development, as needed.

Senior Spectrum Manager Responsibilities Include:
Supporting the development and coordination of frequency assignment requests with internal and external stakeholders.
Address issues/conflicts and recommend solutions to resolve in a prompt matter.
Track requirements and provide status updates, as required.
Provide technical analysis, review position papers, modeling efforts, or assist in the development of Navy position papers.
Prepare for, attend, and participate in meetings and draft meeting minutes.

Minimum Qualification:
BS/BA Degree or Interservice Radio Frequency Management School (IRFMS) or the Army Spectrum Management Course
10+ years work related experience
Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start) Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
Desired Experience:
Completion of GEMSIS End-to-End Supportability System (E2ESS) Stepstone training
Completion of GEMSIS E2ESS, Host Nation Spectrum Worldwide Data Online (HNSWDO) training
Completion of GEMSIS Joint Spectrum Data Repository (JSDR) training
Two plus years drafting/coordinating Application for Equipment Frequency Allocation (DD Form 1494) files and/or Note-to-Holders
Two plus years coordinating DD Form 1494's for Host Nation Coordination
Two plus years working at a National or COCOM level
