Program Description: The GSMO-II program provides support services for the operation, defense, and sustainment of the Department of Defense Information Network/Defense Information System Network, predominantly within the continental U.
S.
(CONUS), but with support services provided at multiple locations outside of CONUS.
The program addresses a range of Operations and Sustainment of IT services, taking into account Agency initiatives involving Cyber Security, IT, Automation, and Network Optimization.
Position Description: The Requirements Lead/Business Analyst will work to develop a common understanding of current processes and systems in order to formulate requirements specifications.
This individual will work closely with GSMO-II stakeholders, customers, and development teams to understand the technical and business processes for this effort.
This includes understanding the legacy system tools and their uses, coordinate and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to plan and facilitate development efforts, and identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements to deliver the best product to the customer.
NOTE: This position will require the candidate to be present at the DISA HQ facility at Ft.
Meade and is not eligible for telework at this time.
Responsibilities:
• Elicit and document business and functional requirements by gathering and analyzing data
• Document/create user stories
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and both Contract and Federal Management teams to plan and coordinate sprints
• Coordinate/facilitate technical workshops for requirements gathering, readiness reviews, and/or integration discussions between various stakeholder groups
• Collaborate with customers/end users and internal development teams to translate functional requirements/ideas into technical solutions; acts as a bridge between functional/business requirements and technical capabilities
• Act as liaison between development teams to ensure end-to-end collaboration
• Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders
• Analyze current processes and bottlenecks to identify opportunities for improvement/efficiency within a new tool (or within new proposed business structures as identified by customers/end users)
• Collaborate with Technical Leads and Release Managers on roadmap planning/workload prioritization
• Test business processes and provide feedback/recommendation to stakeholders

Preferred Skills
• Experience with ServiceNow Telecommunications suite of modules preferred
• Previous telecommunications experience preferred
• Experience creating training documentation/communication materials
