The Patient Assistant facilitates patient flow by greeting patients and preparing them for their examination, acting as a chaperone, uploading images, and performing other non-technologist functions when appropriate.
Enters data into the hospital information system, transports films within the hospital, and transports patients, if necessary"
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Current Maryland CNA Certification
High school graduate or equivalent.
Medical setting experience desired.
General knowledge of Radiology exams and/or anatomy is desired.
Must be able to carry, lift or push up to 30lbs.
