The Johns Hopkins Hospital
Meyer 9 is a 22-bed adult medical unit with capacity for 12 patients requiring telemetry.
Patient population includes cardiomyopathy patients, heart patients 24 hours post-uncomplicated MI, tracheostomy patients, and patients with GI and liver problems.
Shifts: 8 & 12 Hour Day Shifts
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Active Nursing Assistant Certification in Maryland is required
1 year of acute care (hospital) tech experience during the most recent 2 years is required (EMT or CRT experience may be considered)
BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
Clinical Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital have the opportunity to provide highly skilled and compassionate patient- and family-centered care as a contributing member of the health care team.
Ongoing education is provided to all Clinical Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice.
During your first year, you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit, which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development.
Johns Hopkins Health System requires all employees be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.
If hired, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination status within 14 days of employment start.
