Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday

Among the programs and services, we provide are Outpatient Mental Health Centers, Adult and Child Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs, School-Based Therapy, Community Outreach, and Residential Services.
Who We Need:
We are currently looking for a full-time Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselor to join our Dundalk team.
What We Need:
Someone who has either experience or education related to the population with whom they shall work and an eagerness to grow in the field.
Someone who has basic knowledge of the DSM and relevant symptoms of the most common diagnosis within the PRP programs.
Someone who can demonstrate basic proficiency in assessments, treatment planning, advocacy skills and case management skills.
Someone who can demonstrate the ability to express themselves well through writing, interpersonal and oral communication skills.
Someone who has an understanding and sensitivity to serving culturally diverse and/or special needs population while maintaining patient confidentially.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Conduct and document onsite and offsite psycho educational groups.
Responsible for teaching community skills including ADLs as needed.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all documentation.
Safely transport PRP members to and from the program and offsite activities.
Responsible for the comprehensive services offered through on-site and off-site programs.
This includes assessment, case management, psycho education, crisis intervention, advocacy, and community liaison.
Must drive 15 passenger vans.
What You Need:
Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred (one to one year exchange.
) Degree must be in psychology, sociology, psychiatric rehab, mental health, or a related human services field.
Valid and active Maryland driver's license (or state of residence)
Pass a criminal background check, MVA check, and provide a negative drug screen.
