Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.
We are currently seeking a part-time Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our team at the Youth Detention Center located in Baltimore, Maryland.
Pay rate: $76,000
The Licensed Mental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.
Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required
Active mental health professional license in Maryland (LCSW-C or LCPC) required
Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct care to individuals with mental illness preferred
Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Available Shift: part time, Mondays - Fridays, 5pm - 9pm
