RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

Overview: The Research Associate (MRI Biophysicist) will research in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) method development and its application to human disease.
Responsibilities: 1.
Develop research protocols for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
2.
Develop data acquisition methods for MRI.
3.
Develop data processing methods for MRI.
4.
Stay abreast of information and new technologies related to MRI.
5.
Apply methods to the study of living cells and organisms.
6.
Work together with faculty, fellows, and students at the Kennedy Krieger Institute.
7.
Be part of publishing papers/articles based on the research.
Qualifications: EDUCATION: • Master’s degree in physics, engineering, chemistry, medical imaging, or related field required.
• Doctoral degree highly desirable.
EXPERIENCE: • At least two years of experience in experimental magnetic resonance is required.
• Experience writing scientific papers required.
• Experience working together in a scientific setting is required.
