Qualifications
All experience levels are welcome.
Previous experience is preferred with a minimum of 1-year working for a dealership, automotive shop, tire center, or quick lube.
ASE certification is a plus.
Job Duties Include, but are not limited to…
Perform Jiffy Lube Signature Service oil change
Inspect and service fluids, filters, lights, wipers, tires, and other minor services
Test, diagnose, and repair brakes, suspensions, tires, and light engine repair like spark plugs, cooling system repair, etc.
No Engine/Transmission rebuilds or swaps
In terms of repair services, we generally limit ourselves to jobs with a book time of 4 hours or less.
We do not do full engine or transmission swaps.
Once you’ve become certified, you will be eligible for advancement opportunities and training in other positions [Advanced Technician, Service Advisor and/or Management].
Physical Qualifications
Must be able to operate equipment such as overhead and floor mounted oil and grease guns, vehicle lift controls, impact wrenches, transmission machine, air conditioner service machine, radiator service machine, hand tools and basic shop equipment
Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds
Must be able to push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, and turn head-neck-shoulders as needed
