Duties
The primary purpose of the position is to function as a General Attorney (Contract).
The incumbent independently performs a broad spectrum of legal services for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Component Acquisition Executive (CAE), and Procurement Service Executive, including Procurement Service Directorate (PSD) and Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) seniors and personnel.
Acts as principal attorney in charge of the preparation and presentation of cases before administrative tribunals (e.
g.
, Government Accountability Office, Boards of Contracts Appeals, and federal courts.
Primary responsibilities include (1) representing the Agency and the DoD in litigation before adversarial tribunals in acquisition and procurement matters; (2) providing advice and guidance to contracting and administrative personnel to ensure all statutory requirements, regulations and other legal prerequisites have been met; (3) recommending preventative law policy and procedure to ensure that statutes and regulations government procurement and personnel actions are met; and (4) providing advice and counsel for developmental agency programs.

Education To be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university.
