*SQF and Quality Assurance Compliance Manager*
This position is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing techniques, processes and procedures for quality assurance.
Coordinating with suppliers, vendors and customers to meet the quality, safety, and compliance with HACCP, SQF, FDA and other regulating agencies in regard to flavors and extracts in the food and beverage industry.
*Responsibilities & Duties:*
* Responsible for food safety and compliance as it relates to FDA, SQF and USDA standards
* Administer, create and update internal policies and procedures to satisfy SQF requirements and maintain compliance with the food and beverage industries regulatory obligations
* Responsible for all SQF audits
* Administer training to personnel on SQF and food safety topics.
* Ensure HACCP, GMP’s, Standard Operating Procedures, and Quality programs are followed
* Coordinate, investigate and resolve regulatory concerns and execute corrective action
* Review quality assurance paperwork for accuracy and verification
* Communicate with employees regarding product quality and record keeping issues
* Keep updated with food safety requirements, consumer protection, public health regulations, and industry best practices to ensure continued compliance with regulatory changes
* Manage corrective action process to comply with regulatory requirements to identify cause, address product, restore control reevaluate processes modify procedures or improve the food safety system and prevent recurrences
* Responsible for Foreign Supplier Verification Program
* Provide support for any product recalls
* Complete customer document requests
* Maintain yearly certificates to be up to date
* Assist with special projects.
*Qualifications:*
* 3 years’ experience with food manufacturing & QA programs
* Knowledge of food safety, food microbiology, food processing technology, sanitation practices
* License and/or Certification Requirements: GMP, HACCP, SQF, PCQI
* Decision making skills
* Strong analytical, written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Combination of education and work experience will be considered

* Bachelor’s Degree in the Food & Beverage Industry or related degree program
*Schedule:*
* Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm, no weekends, no overtime
