Purpose of Role The Manager, Third Party Compliance is a key member of the Global Ethics & Compliance team.
This teammate is instrumental in ensuring the compliance of people and processes with global laws as well as UA requirements.
This role will manage the day-to-day operations of compliance’s third-party management program and support UA’s broader compliance needs.
This will entail working directly with cross-functional teammates throughout the business and operations to drive accountability, establish appropriate compliance controls, and promote a culture of compliance.
Your Impact Oversee UA’s third-party due diligence and monitoring process, acting as the first reviewer for UA’s third-party screening tools Coordinate the appropriate level of review for UA’s third parties based on risk presented and communicating the findings to the business Identify best practices in third-party management and program implementation Serve as the primary point of contact for global business partners for third-party partnerships, reports, and issue escalation Provide training and communications to global business partners and key third parties Support the overall Global Ethics & Compliance program, including policy development and management, employee training, driving a Speak Up culture, and program enhancements Support investigations of potential violations of law and policy (e.
g.
, anti-bribery, antitrust, UA code of ethics, and related internal policies) as needed Maintain the highest level of confidentiality This position has no direct reports, but may in the future as internal resourced needs are assessed as the business expands and the compliance program grows Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university At least six years of experience working in a corporate legal, regulatory, or compliance environment Prior experience managing third-party programs related to sanctions, anti-bribery, regulations, and other risks Strong project management skills, including the ability to track progress towards milestones and deadlines and effectively provide updates, and familiarity with project tracking software (i.
e.
, Jira, Microsoft Project Plan, Smartsheet) Ability to master key compliance risk areas (i.
e.
, preventive program development, enforcement, investigations) including sanctions, anti-bribery regulations (e.
g.
, FCPA/UK Bribery Act), and antitrust Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Leading Practitioner in Ethics & Compliance (LPEC) a plus Retail and/or Consumer industry experience a plus Workplace Location Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD Return to Work Designation: Three (3) days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote Relocation No relocation provided Base Compensation $97,272.
00 - $133,749.
00 USD Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time.
Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
