Hello world.
I’ve created a gonzo podcast that dives head first into folklore, the paranormal, the magical, and the strange in real time road trip fashion— and I’m looking for a cohost.
“Why?”, you might ask?
1\.
Fun (traveling/driving alone is boring, plus the banter opportunities are too good to pass up).
2\.
Safety (we will get into some pretty weird situations with very “raw” and wonderful humans (and maybe non-humans) and the buddy system works)
3\.
Production efficiency.
Shared labor and collaboration.
Nuff said.
I’m also looking primarily for a specific “sort” of person but this isn’t totally rigid.
Ideally you:
1\.
Are under the age of 50.
🤷♂️
2\.
Have some kind of previous experience in radio, podcasting, or production.
3\.
Have a decent speaking voice.
4\.
Are ok with wild experiences and living a little on the “dangerous” side.
You would ideally be the kind of person who quite often seems to find yourself in the middle of weird happenings.
5\.
At least have some sort of an appreciation for punk rock.
6\.
Can travel a couple weekends a month with occasional longer trips.
7\.
Are good at getting people to open up.
Iykyk.
8\.
Are funny or have some comedy experience or at least people regard you as fairly quick witted.
9\.
Like to drink alcohol.
Also, people identifying as female or femme non-binary, etc will get priority because I enjoy that dynamic in shows.
If you have experience in the paranormal, the occult, are psychic/a medium, or have an interesting background in anything considered a bit off the beaten path, you’ll get major priority.
I really want to find the right person to make this show with because it deserves to be made.
And there’s a lot of interesting stories to be told and explored out there.
Who doesn’t want to get lost in a side of life that we don’t often get to see?
If interested or you want to know more, HMU.
Thanks!
