Teacher, Primary School (EX) (2024-2025) - St. Francis of Assisi School, Baltimore MD

The Archdiocese of Baltimore is seeking full-time primary grade classroom teachers.
Our Primary School teachers have the opportunity to become part of a dynamic school community and would be responsible for instruction in all core subjects in a self-contained classroom.
There are three openings for this position.
Essential Functions Create and implement lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan Course of Study, utilizing techniques to motivate, challenge, engage, and inspire students to think confidently and independently Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students Integrate the use of technology effectively into the curriculum Establish reasonable standards for student achievement.
Observe and assess student progress, record such progress, and share with parents as required by school policy Maintain high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teachings of the Catholic Church Interact effectively and respond to all parent communications in a professional and timely manner Participate in faculty meetings, collaborative planning meetings, retreats, school committees, and in-service learning opportunities Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration Position Qualifications Degree in Education MSDE certification or the ability to obtain certification in one to two years Experience in student teaching or classroom teaching at the elementary school level Familiarity with a variety of technology tools to enrich and differentiate instruction Practicing Catholic preferred *To be considered for a teaching opportunity and to assist with determining compensation, the following documentation is required to be uploaded with your application: Resume, applicable certifications, licensures (PEL), transcripts, and reference contact information.
