Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Scaled Agile Toolsmith III to join our team in Glen Burnie, MD.
Description: The Scaled Agile Toolsmith III is a senior-level role responsible for supporting application profiling verification and assurance for critical systems.
They review systems for production performance readiness with a focus on efficiency, resiliency, reliability, scalability, required monitoring and alerting, and adherence to development and implementation standards.
They support proof-of-concept activities for new applications and technologies from a standards, performance, and nonfunctional analysis perspective, including general product assessment, implementation planning, testing and evaluation, tuning, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) identification.
They collect and define requirements; translate them into functional design documents; and participate in the technical design, test planning, and user documentation processes.
They participate in integration efforts and work with users and peers in planning, developing, implementing, and supporting new or existing applications.
They participate in software design, prototyping, construction, and testing of new or enhanced applications and assist in training users on new or enhanced applications.
They deliver overall functionality and project delivery.
They organize and execute deployment (including cloud deployment), maintenance, and administration of virtual environments (including cloud).
The Scaled Agile Toolsmith III keeps new and existing critical applications production-ready.
The Scaled Agile Toolsmith III supervises and mentors subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.
Basic Qualifications: A minimum of five (5) years of position-specific relevant experience.
DoD 8570.
01-m IAT Level II Certification.
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline and 9 years of experience.
(Can be substituted for a HS diploma with 13 years of experience or an Associate’s degree with 11 years of experience.
) Preferred Qualifications: Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) certification.
Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
Bachelor’s degree in software development.
4 years working in an AGILE development environment.
Clearance Requirements: The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Eligible clearance is required prior to starting this position.
Must be a US Citizen.
Physical Requirements: The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.
S.
-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
