You can expect to spend your time accomplishing the following: 50% of the time on Objective 1: Increasing Organizational Efficiency Through Scripting 30% of the time on Objective 2: Product Engineering and Development 10% of the time on Objective 3: Increase Speed of Delivery 10% of the time on Objective 4: Professional Development Job Responsibilities - What to Expect Automate prioritized manual processes and present results to users creating an enhanced development and operator experience.
Act as a source for scripts and solutions needed to solve one-off problems such as configuration generation, product testing, and dependency management.
Assist team members with programming approaches.
Integrate new solutions and automation into the product development teams.
Support eliminating pain points for product development and operations teams.
Consult on testing practices for automation of CI/CD pipelines.
Facilitate and implement the migration of automation approaches into enterprise tooling suite: ServiceNow, Ansible Automation Platform Assist team members with programming approaches.
Pursue certifications and education in the relevant technologies.
Your Knowledge & Expertise BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 1 to 3 years experience with programming.
Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle Comfort with engineering new solutions to issues A passion for optimizing and automating developer processes Adaptable and willing to learn new languages and skills as required Experience with Python and JavaScript Experience with Linux Operating Systems Experience in at least two of the following: TLS configuration (certs, ciphers, etc.
) Ansible CI/CD pipelines Docker and/or Kubernetes Nginx configuration Application Security Practices
