Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Identity Engineer to assist in analyzing the development and potential applications of identity and access management (IAM) systems for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).
This role will be critical in ensuring the successful delivery of projects and programs, ultimately supporting the warfighter.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Work with DISA and industry personnel to review and develop a comprehensive understanding of identity and access management (IAM) systems such as Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Okta, Google Cloud, Cloudflare Access, Zscaler Zero Trust.
Research and evaluate new IAM technologies and solutions.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for access control, user authentication, and authorization.
Design, implement, and manage identity lifecycle processes, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews.
Integrate IAM systems with other enterprise applications and systems.
Initiate, coordinate, and monitor technical and functional activities, including strategic planning, program analysis, quality assurance, configuration management, workflow management, and productivity assessment.
Attend program reviews, integrated process teams, and general outreach activities to promote DISA initiatives and obtain Combatant Command (COCOM) or other partner participation.
Provide technical support for pathfinders, proofs-of-concept, and prototypes in various areas.
Develop specific program and individual project-level management activities, process improvement recommendations, technology evaluation plans, procedures, metrics, and associated documentation.
Generate reports, compose memos, transcribe notes, research topics, and create presentations.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is desired.
Strong knowledge and experience with emerging cybersecurity technologies.
Proven ability to analyze technology, create reports, and deliver briefings.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable with public speaking.
Self-motivated and collaborative, with a track record of delivering results promptly.
Certifications
DoD 8570 IAT Level III and industry certifications may be required
Security Clearance
DoD Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance may be required
Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.
)
