Full Stack Java Developer with DevOps Skills and Top Secret/SCI Clearance with an FSP (Required) -Annapolis Junction, MD We are looking to hire a candidate with the skills set mentioned and experience for a federal government security agency in Annapolis Junction, MD.
This is a permanent employment role.
This position is fully Onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Candidates must be local in MD or candidates willing to relocate to the MD area.
Candidates must have Top Secret/SCI Clearance with an FSP (Full Scope Polygraph) (Required).
Position Summary: We have an immediate need for a Full Stack Developer with back-end Java 8+ and DevOps skills.
Support will focus on software engineering and DevOps of a tool suite that delivers critical intelligence around the world at mission speed.
The team works with cutting-edge technology to manage high-volume and time-sensitive data throughput in response to the Intelligence Community and worldwide partner needs.
Support includes both the sustainment of the existing tools and the development of new features and functionality based on high-priority mission needs.
Responsibilities/Duties: Developing distributed software.
Updating software code and fixing bugs.
Deploying applications.
Installing and configuring complex software.
Managing network servers and technology tools.
Monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance.
Writing scripts to automate general system operations or DevOps activities.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues and outages.
Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly one week out of every six weeks).
Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked.
Mandatory Skills/Experience/Education: 8+ years of Experience/Strong back-end Java and DevOps skills.
Top Secret/SCI Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph (Required).
Spring Boot/Spring Cloud MySQL Kibana/Logstash MongoDB Docker/Docker Compose/Docker Swarm RESTful web services Angular/TypeScript/GWT Syndeo Drools Other specifications: Employment Type: W2, NO C2C.
Contracting Period: Permanent Employment.
Job Location: Fully Onsite - Annapolis Junction, MD.
Salary: $190k for 14+ years of experience, and $210k for 20+ years of experience (W2).
Interview: Multiple Rounds of interviews are expected.
