We are seeking a System Engineer - II.
Position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance.
Position Required Skills: The candidate will: Analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
Analyze system requirements and leads design and development activities.
Guide users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
Develop technical documentation.
Develops system Architecture and system design documentation.
Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
The CNK team supports a set of cloud-based analytics; these analytics are built on the corporate infrastructure and incorporates various technologies • SE experience wrt requirements / design • Knowledge of Confluence, JIRA or similar • Requirements gathering, documentation and work-flow • Engauge with customer/developer regarding requirements • Manage sprint planning and retrospective • Facilitate internal customer/developer meetings • Assist analytic deployment process • Understand analytic functions and compliance posture • Create team, analytic and compliance documentation • Work with customers for requirements elicitation, enhancements, and bug fixes- this includes hosting and leading discussions with customers • Work with customer management to communicate status, clearly identify priorities and milestones, and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Work with developer POC to ensure tasking is captured in JIRA and updated as appropriate • Support the implementation of agile development practices using scrum, including managing and hosting sprint planning and retrospective meetings • Documenting requirements with developer support in JIRA • Product result driven / problem resolution ability Qualifications: Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
