Splunk Software Engineer IV

Description (of position):
Ø Develop, implement, and manage Splunk solutions
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (of position):
Ø Architect, implement, and manage Splunk infrastructure and solutions.
Ø Administer Splunk Enterprise security.
Ø Develop and deploy complex Splunk searches.
Ø Administer search head clusters, indexer clusters, and Splunk forwarders.
Ø Work with users to troubleshoot, develop, and deploy Splunk solutions for them.
Ø Use GIT to manage and deploy custom apps and configurations.
Ø Use AWS to manage and deploy Splunk infrastructure.
Ø Use Jira and ServiceNow to track tickets.
Required Qualifications:
Ø Splunk Architect certification OR Splunk admin certification with capabilities to architect Splunk solutions when needed.
Ø Experience or knowledge on managing Splunk clusters and forwarders.
Ø Experience or knowledge on developing complex Splunk searches.
Ø Basic Linux knowledge or experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ø Splunk consultant or architect certification
Ø Linux experience
Ø GIT experience
Ø AWS experience
Ø Jira experience
Ø ServiceNow experience
Ø Splunk Enterprise Security knowledge or experience
Ø Splunk SOAR knowledge or experience
Minimum Education and Experience:
Ø High school + 12 years minimum experience OR
Ø Associates degree + 10 years minimum experience OR
Ø Bachelor’s degree + 8 years minimum experience OR
Ø Master’s degree + 6 years minimum experience OR
Ø Doctorate’s degree + 4 years minimum experience
