Systems Engineer Level 5

OPS Consulting is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 5 to work in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Job Description: OPS Consulting is seeking a Systems Engineer (SE) Level 5 to apply systems engineering principles throughout the projects systems life cycle phases.
The SE will be responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and delivery for the many different defined process areas.
Additional Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of systems engineering documentation, planning, capabilities, etc.

Manages system requirements and delivery of production.
Coordinate the resolution of action items from meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews.
Perform engineering activities and assist in the preparation of multiple work products.
Assist in the allocation of hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
Develop system design and alternatives that consider lifecycle cost, reuse, complexity, risk, growth, and expansion.
Assist in developing new and innovative approaches to a technical or engineering issue.
Conduct and evaluate project implementation.
Analyst and propose appropriate engineering standards and processes for the project.
Supervise and coordinate the work of other engineers.
Required Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline and Fifteen (15) years of system engineering experience.
OR A High School diploma or GED and nineteen (19) years of system engineering experience OR A Master’s degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline and Thirteen (13) years of system engineering experience.
Security Clearance: A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
