Responsibilities Be part of our exciting team supporting a robust, world-wide communications network, providing office automation packages; document and information management tools; and collaboration, voice, and video tools in a secure, flexible, distributed architecture supporting a classified DoD IT system.
Peraton is seeking a Linux Developer / Integration Engineer to provide engineering and integration for data center services.
Responsibilities include: Perform Systems Integration Engineering and Implementation services across the enterprise for hardware, software, and applications.
Coordinate all design and integration activities for IT services to ensure consistency and business focus.
Analyze the effectiveness and proper functioning of secure and resilient IT infrastructures, environments, applications and data/information resources and capability and make recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Active TS/SCI level clearance is required Experience in Infrastructure/Datacenter engineering and integration for both physical and virtual infrastructure hosting Linux systems Proven experience with Experience with VMware technology suite and Linux Must have a current DoD 8570.
1-M IAT Level II certification (i.
e.
, Security+ CE) Professional-level Linux certifications desired ITIL Foundations certification desired Target Salary Range $86,000 - $138,000.
This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
