Do you love working with children? Do you embrace and enjoy the daily challenges of working with children? Prince of Peace Creative Learning Center is located in Rosedale MD and we are looking for you! We have been providing child care for Rosedale and the surrounding communities for over 50 years.
The center is a mission of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
We are seeking to build a team of passionate professionals committed to the child care industry.
The best candidate will find excitement in the day to day challenges working with children provide.
Responsibilities include but not limited to having ability to take initiative Meal service of breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.
Planning a variety of daily age appropriate activities to keep the children engaged and active.
Shared responsibilities of lesson planning with co workers.
Ability to work well with peers, children and parents.
Understanding that each child is an individual and ability to realize that all children have different needs.
Must be able to multi task balancing room maintenance, daily activities, behavior management, singing, dancing and enjoying time with young children.
This is a hands on job.
Willingness to close the center.
Position is Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Must have 99 hr certification in ECE.
Group Leader certification is a plus.
Willingness to take required mandatory trainings required by MSDE.
Participation in the Maryland Credentialing program is required.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.
