Infant Care Teacher

We are looking for a qualified Infant Care Teacher to provide quality experiences for children while working in a Reggio and RIE inspired environment.
Candidate should understand developmental appropriate practice and is able to create a warm environment for children and families.
Seeking candidates whom have a passion for growing as a professional educator.
*Responsibilities* * Follow and implement a Reggio inspired curriculum.
* Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, the arts etc.
) * Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem * Encourage children to interact with each other and develop self-regulation skills.
* Guide children to develop a sense of confidence as they express their own thoughts and ideas through a variety of materials.
* Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times * Track children’s progress and report to parents * Communicate with parents * Collaborate with other educators * Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards *Skills* * Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher * Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods * Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms * Excellent communication and instructional skills * Ability to act as mediator between children * 90 hour certification in Early Childhood Education * 45 hour certification in Infant and Toddler Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.
