This Sears & Roebuck Homart vintage window fan is simply massive in size, weight and air output.
Judging by its Machine Age industrial style and size, it seems apparent that this Homart fan was meant for commercial applications.
However, it may have been intended as an amazingly powerful whole-house window exhaust fan, too.
The giant 20-inch steel blade unit is belt-powered by a large motor in the base of the cabinet.
It creates the same huge wind flow and airplane propeller hum as our old attic fan.
The fan has two speeds.
