Overview
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel , office equipment, and scheduling software to include outlook calendar.
If you have previous experience in the scheduling, administrative fields and familiarity within our industry, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, a successful candidate should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day of all schedules between caregivers and clients, and stay on top of scanning/uploading necessary documents in software.
Responsibilities
Data entry
Phone screening/interviewing/reference checks
Scheduling of caregivers and RNs - makes all arrangements, including providing directions to care recipient's homes/facilities
Fills all openings/unfilled shifts and provides backup coverage
Home care administrative paperwork completion
Monitors caregivers and RNs in the field
Customer service
Maintains timesheets, employee files, and various reports
Assumes full responsibility of the company on-call pager on a rotated schedule
Follow-up on home care referrals
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Scheduler
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Exhibits the utmost flexibility with other duties as assigned
High School degree; additional qualification in Administrative or clerical skills a plus
