Our company is seeking a Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Support professional to join our client's team in providing expert guidance and support for our client's continuity programs.
The successful candidate will work closely with the DR/BC Lead and the TT&E Program Lead to ensure effective execution of continuity responsibilities.
Location: Baltimore, MD (80% Remote, 20% Onsite).
This is a contract position.
Responsibilities: - Develop and update program documentation, including Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Disaster Recovery Plans, and related materials - Conduct Test, Training, and Exercise (TT&E) activities to prepare staff for continuity support responsibilities - Provide technical assistance and support to Component Continuity Program Managers/Alternates - Develop communication products and raise awareness on continuity and disaster recovery issues - Assist with Business Process Analysis (BPA) and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) cycles - Draft recommendations and support administrative tasks for continuity meetings - Manage and analyze the CMS Continuity Scorecard tool - Support the creation of new tools and templates for continuity planning efforts - Develop and execute SCORM-compliant training modules - Coordinate and manage continuity-related modules in the Learning Management System - Train response teams in the National Incident Management System (NIMS) - Prepare training for various continuity members on program initiatives and plans - Analyze GETS testing results and provide outcomes by Component - Create and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and job aids Qualifications: - Degree or experience in Business Continuity or a related field, or current ABCP®, CBCP®, or APSCP® credential from DRII - Advanced knowledge of the discipline and ability to develop solutions to complex problems - Strong project management skills with the ability to schedule and execute projects - Bachelor's Degree - Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience To apply, please submit your resume to hello@michellemartingroup.
