Cost Analyst
The Opportunity:
As a Cost Analyst, you will perform a wide variety of cost and economic analyses estimating, what-if drills, impact statements, and engineering studies for a variety of Army managed programs.
You will be able to lead the cost estimating activities for the Milestone decision.
You'll perform life cycle analysis and economic analysis studies for major phases of varied equipment and systems using mathematical models, matrices, simulation models, ACEIT, and other parametric models.
The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change.
In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging.
That’s why we need you, to provide support in the areas of program and financial analysis, including day-to-day program analysis and management for multiple programs.
As a financial analyst on our team, you’ll create a financial management strategy to help the Army succeed.
You’ll work with business management professionals to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.
You’ll perform a broad range of cost and economic analysis assignments involving unique problems, requirements for creativity, innovative use of techniques, advanced approaches, and new technologies.
You’ll provide authoritative interpretation of DoD, DA, and AMC guidelines and regulations concerning production, and cost and economic analysis requirements and techniques.
Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies, you’ll help your client develop well-formed requirements.
Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication.

You Have: Experience working in analysis and technical management Experience developing a Life Cycle Cost estimate using Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT) in support of a milestone decision Experience with DoD acquisition policies Experience with parametric cost estimating, relationships, and model development Experience with cost risk analysis and cost-benefit analysis Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience generating Milestone documentation Experience with project management Experience with strategic planning Experience with requirements management Experience with risk management Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelor's degree in Operations, Research, Business, or Mathematics Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $65,400.
00 to $149,000.
